On a cold winter's night in Lincoln, Nebraska, Jake and Tracy magically bumped into each other at the best bar in town: The Brass Rail. After exchanging numbers, Jake and Tracy went on a first date at Blue Sushi and quickly realized that this had the chance for something special. Days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months, and Jake and Tracy were officially dating.

From that point, they spent time together and time apart, navigating Tracy's CPA job in Lincoln, Jake's master's program in London, and Jake's consulting job in Washington DC. After a year of long distance, they finally decided to live in the same place: Alexandria, Virginia. Here, they have created a wonderful life amongst the historic cobblestone streets: the place where Jake eventually proposed in November of 2025.

Little did they know that a chance encounter at their favorite college bar would lead to a life full of love!
